Wow strange. This got me to thinking about how much my husband looks like my dad! They both have black hair, when I was younger, my dad had long curly hair (he was a hippie), my husbands hair is a lot longer then my dads ever was but still it is long and curly. But my husband has a receded hair line where as my dad has a full head of hair. They both have brownish eyes and mustaches......wierd. A lot of people think it is strange too that my dad will be 51 in August and my husband is 43 today. They have similiar qualities as well. Oh no I married my dad LOL

Well Jeanette, I decided when I was much younger that I would never marry a man who was like my Father. I had heard way back then that women do this..well, not me, haha!

Seventeen years into marriage and ummm..

Well...my father and my husband have the same hairstyle and color, the same mustache and goatee and both dress in jeans and black t-shirts. The very weird thing is that they both shaved their heads and grew this facial hair without knowing the other did it.

I have also been noticing that they have some attitudes and such that are similar too.

Will someone tell me how I ended up married to a man that has anything in common with my Father??

I have studied this at school. Freud had some theories on this. i think it was called Elektra complex or sumthin. Well, I think it's not just the women as men are also attracted to women who resemble their mothers.

Of course, Freud said a lot of other things as well. He was really sick.
