The International Museum of Women unveils the latest theme of the Imagining Ourselves exhibit: Image and Identity. From July through September, join women from all over the world as we explore the culture behind our clothes.

What do your clothes say about you? Can you turn wearing trash into a trend? Can you go braless without being leered at? Do you have the right to walk in public without people undressing you? Join us as we uncover these and many more revealing questions. Explore how young women from more than 30 countries use film, photography, words and art to interpret if ones physical appearance says anything about who they really are.

Read an account by award-winning comedienne, designer and author, Margaret Cho as she talks about her idea of beauty and questions the media generated images we love to hate and hate to love. Follow along as Carnie Wilson, singer and member of the four-time Grammy-nominated band Wilson Philips, recounts the live online broadcast of her gastric bypass surgery and talks about her challenges with weight loss and alcohol addiction.

And dont miss the winners of our first Mothers Day Photo Contest in our wrap up of the Motherhood exhibit.

See the Image and Identity exhibit now, and help spread the word!
