Franco is continually up-dating his site. He has added more detailed photos and instructions, so even the handy-man-challenged crafter can make one, though I think most spinners are anything but that, from what I have seen on various forums. Spinners are an extremely innovative and imaginative bunch, and use whatever is handy to build the tools they need!

The Navajo attitude of waste not want not, applies to all of us spinners and weavers! They even save a tiny bit of string because it is such a long distance to their local stores from their hogans.
