What has this world come to that an eleven year old runs from the police and is drunk? Thankfully no one was seriously hurt! Girl, 11, charged with DUI after high-speed chase

This happened about 45 minutes from where I live, and we all freaked out when we found out about it! This girl is probably too young to truly comprehend the seriousness of her actions.

Betcha they locked her up in a cell block in the Deep South.

I'm willing to bet they don't, but they certainly should lock up her parents! I think you'd be surprised how much this does happen-just minus the high speed chase.

I agree in some ways parents should be help responsible for their childrens actions yet, if he parent is not present that is a hard call.

Children are getting influenced by many factors. parents alone can not control them now.

I have known many teens smartly hiding facts from parents and fooling them. Society itself is changing in values.
