Has anyone ever used this yarn? When knitted up, is it soft? Scratchy? The reason I 'm asking is that I'm thinking about making a shawl out of it for my elderly aunt..( I'm not sure whict pattern would work best, as I'm a very new knitter..(Can cast on, knit, purl, bind off...but, have a very real difficulty with k2together..- my knitting just gets really tight- can't even put the needle in the next stitch! But really liked the first decrease in the new article...- THAT was fun to learn!! LOL..)

Thanks in advance for any assistance..

I've no idea what that yarn would be like knitted up, but I would advise knitting up a small sample to see how it feels before you embark on any project.

You might like to have a look at www.knittingpatterncentral.com to see if there are any suitable links there.

I would suggest trying to relax when you're knitting, and let your finger guide the yarn round the needle. You might also like to get some Knitpicks Options from www.knitpicks.com if you are in the US or Canada (they don't send overseas). They're known for having good points.

I'm glad you found my article helpful!

I have used this mohair and really liked it , I made a shawl with it and also used it as accent with other yarns and it worked beautifully. Irene

I would love to see a picture if you have one.
