My most recent article introduces Fred Dalton Thompson, who will probably be announcing his bid for the Republican Party nomination for president in 2008.

What are your thoughts on the issue? Is Thompson the only true conserative of the contenders in the running?

When we first heard that Fred Thompson might be running, my husband and I both said he will get our vote.

He seems to be a politician that keeps his word, as well as anyone can when working in committees! As a leader, I believe he will do quite well.

(BTW - good to see you Linda Sue!)

I LOVE Fred Thompson and if he runs he will get the votes of DH and I. I think he would make a fantastic President.

Thank you, Michelle and Kiki, for sharing your views about Fred Thompson. I agree he seems like a good candidate, and his being a fellow Tennessean just makes him more likeable for me.

I wonder if he will continue to gather supporters after he announces his intention to run. He's been doing so well in the polls without announcing.
