Just looking at the Spirituality Forum, does anyone else get the feeling that it is being 'taken over' by someone called 'dattaswami' - or am I just paranoid???!!!

Let's start another topic everyone?

Perhaps we could talk about how we can help to stop global warming, or to find alternative sources for power?

Let's discuss ways to help save this beautiful planet which is our Mother!

i think yes.

I think so, Das. To me, the planet is a living thing, and it is sacred to me. Even other religions believe that we are 'stewards' of 'God's Creation' - so yes, I think it is a spiritual issue.

I have commented before about this swami person. he just posts these things over and over, never asking for debate, brinigng up questions to debate. he just write his retoric and we are forced to look beyond it for the discussions and such that we are here for in this forum.

I have put the swami character on ignore so I don't even see his posts anymore.

dattaswami isn't even a real person. it's a multiple-post generated robotic automatic posting system set up by someone in the far east. I doubt very much they are even very spiritual, but apparently by generating massive downloads of posts they get paid for every hit that is responded to.

OH I just thought it was a self absorbed man trying to tell us how to think feel act of believe! the only problem with his theory is that the post are long and boring so i dont bother to read them anymore!!! Sorry!! I just dont see the point in it if he wont even debate or comeback to stand up for what he believes!!!!

I'm listening to the 'Isaiah Effect'. It's very interesting. It is in book form, too of course, but when I reads, I sleeps. This way I can listen to it on the way to work instead of gloom and doom radio news. Anyway.....Gregg Braden is the author and he's all about manifesting and visualizing. He says that we (the human race) have the ability through prayer and visualization to choose which prophecies actually happen. I rather like the idea. I wonder what would happen if at one certain time during one certain date people all over the planet would meditate and visualize a clean planet where no hatred or horrors existed. Sounds like the place I'd want to raise my Grandchildren.

I am not sure but I think he is also a Editor on Ozoneball.com he maybe splitting time between the two but I have not seen him there either in a few days!!!

He has appeared very prolifically on another board I go on. The founder of this other board is a technical whizz-kid, and his abilities within the technological field are astounding! He knows how to trace users from their IP numbers, and can even pinpoint the neighbourhood from where they are posting. He once managed to trace an abusive poster back to his home 'phone number, and directly threatened him, verbally, wth prosecution if he did not cease his disruptive activities.
'Dattaswami' is being transmitted from Indonesia.

I PM'd Amadeus to see what's up. This is the summer, so maybe he's just on vacation!

Dattaswami, whether alive or a bot, does seem to have a lot to say..lol. As you know.. I never give anyone the boot here unless they are are being verbally abusive.. and that pretty much means swearing at everyone in sight with no purpose.

So, he is among us until he leaves us. Actually, I have learned a few things from reading his posts..
