Trish, I'll pray for thorough healing and speedy recovery for your brother. I'll pray for your friend's sister - that she is strong in her faith and receives love and encouragement from those around her. I pray that the supernatural peace, that only Jesus can give, envelops the entire family.

Tina, I'm glad to hear that your father is home and in the healing process.

My husband, Chad, faces huge trials beginning this Monday. I would really appreciate any prayers that could be sent his way. We are baby Christians and I know the Lord will get us through these challenges. I just pray that Chad's faith will only grow stronger as he walks through adversity. Thank You sisters in Christ!

I need a teary face.

Many of you know that I spent several days in a hospital last summer for suicidal thoughts.

Well, i just had to take my 14 year old son (the one with Apserger's syndrome) to the same hospital. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

He carved a cross into his arm yesterday with a pair of scissors. He wanted everyone to know that he is a Christian and hopes it will scar so that people will ask him about it.

Then today he wrote a note talking about suicide, saying that Heaven would be the one place where he wouldn't have any stress.

They are going to keep him for a few days to see how his current meds are working and how he is sleeping, and he will also take classes on stress and anger management.

I can only talk to him for 10 minutes between 8 and 9 PM. And I can't see him until Sunday. I feel totally lost, worse than when I was in the hospital myself.

He asked me, "Why is God doing all this to me?"

Oh Michelle, this has to be the worst thing. Having your son there and not being able to just take him in your arms and make it better.

I'll be praying for him, that he will experience the supernatural peace the Jesus brings. I'll pray that the doctors have the wisdom for the right meds and care.

I pray for you too. For encouragement and that same peace. Remember and remind him that God loves him even more than you do.

go to ephesians 6 v10-18
if you use this daily as a prayer for you and your son it will help.
GOD will sort this and you will both come through it much closer to GOD.
maybe when your son is ready you could show him the same scripture and teach him to use it as a prayer the best way is to do it as if you are getting dressed in the armour

My request seems so pathetic in light of everyone elses....

But about a month ago my husbands car broke down and needed a new transmission. So we were quoted about $1000.00 which we could cover..it'd be tight but we could have managed it... when all the work was done, it came out to be $2500.00 and we just don't have that kind of money....Everything we have goes into the managing of our household and we have been trying to save but whenever we get any extra something comes up. To make a long story short, I know the Lord has a plan, but if anyone could help me pray that we could finally get his car out of the shop before we are forced to move in November, I would appreciate it.

I could use a miracle!
