I have heard that the Rock is supposed to come back to the WWE for a couple of months and may feud with Orton. I also read somewhere that Austin will come back in the fall and be around until WM24.

Has anyone else heard about this?

Haven't heard about that yet. Just getting ready to watch Wrestlemania 23 though *grins*
Isn't Orton in trouble with that recent steroid crackdown? I thought Orton, Batista and even Rey were part of that. A lot depends on the timeframe, according to Vince McMahon.
Still....wondered what was up with that, and also how long Rey is staying away and what the real reason is.

Love your avatar Reuben. Last I heard about Rey was he was actually out for an operation on his leg and that is why he submitted to Chavo so it would like Chavo put him out. Haven't heard other than that.

I wondered whether it was a previous injury flareup..but you never know. Look no farther than Owen Hart, ennit? Real injuries definitely take place...I am a grown man and I can't tell the difference between the fake and the real stuff haha!
I am not sure how I feel about Chavo's role as the aggressor towards Rey now that Eddie is gone. I guess aside from tag-teaming them somehow, there was no other direction to take it.
Rey's a family fave in this household, so we look forward to seeing him 619 someone across the ring.

If Rock and or Austin do come back, hell that'd be totally awesome. Even if it isn't true, the speculation raises interest in Wrestling, esp re The Rock.

It's funny because my son is suddenly fixated on Steve Austin. We had to go to Ebay to order WWE Stone cold w/ Roddy Piper wrestling figures. Cost me about 5 times what they retailed at, at one time.
His favorite expression now, when I ask him "Why are you doing this/saying that/ acting that way?" is " because Stone Cold says so."
