Alongside regular classes may be. I am all for the kids having alternative choices to fill their schedule but not in the sense that the fundies around here want it done:As an exclusive form of science. I think that the more knowledge and different views my children experience and can discuss, the better chance they have at living fully in the world. To teach that it's your way or no way is IMO detrimental.

No, creationism is a faith. It is not a science.

I agree. I could be taught in, say, a world religions class that covers many viewpoints, but science is science, evolution is science, and creationism is one part of one religion.
