Being able to play basketball with my grandson.

I am grateful that I got all the snow shoveling done before DH got home from his camping trip. Dang it was heavy. I can't believe how much we got last night. There's something to be said for single car driveways and not using the back door. The dog however had a blast. She had a snow bath, dug holes, caught snowballs.

I am grateful that it stopped snowing and the sun came out.

I'm grateful that DH is back.

I am grateful for hot water and soft sheets and green tea.

I am grateful for the oven. (can you imagine cooking a roast on in a fire pit?)

That's a good point! I love to cook and bake... we are lucky to have modern conveniences.

Today i am grateful for spring and the beautiful day today. The sun was shining and i went for a very long walk. The flowers are coming up and the birds are singing. I hope everyone here at Bella is well.

I am grateful for the sunshine and warm weather. I'm a much happier/nicer person when the sun is shinning.

I thought I'd resurrect this thread on 'being grateful' as Gratitude is such a powerful force. There are not many things in life that can move people to tears or to great joy in a split second! (JOY)

- my roommates gave me wedding gifts;
- the surprise flowers sent to me by my husband;
- my husband for always being there for me;

At the risk of sounding conceited, I just saw a pic of me 4 years ago, chasing money, make up, and possessions; before I found my Joy, Ancestors and self-esteem. Then I put the pic next to a current one of me. I never realized how angry I was until I saw the difference in expressions..
I am grateful for all that's happened in my life. I am grateful that I found this forum!
