What do you really want for Mother's Day? Whether you are a Mom, an aunt, a grandmom, or if you just mother someone, what is your ideal gift to receive?

My kids are 6 1/2 and 4. I don't have any jewelry that says MOM. I would love to have a necklace or a ring that has MOM on it. Or I would like to wake up SUnday and the house be sparkling clean. I think I have a better chance at getting jewelry!

I wish my wife will tell me what she really wants in mother's day, valentine, anniversary, birthday! I am not that creative, so it is very hard for me to think of something to give/do for her:-(

Here is an animated ecard for Mother's Day about a kitten and its mother.

Jewelry and a clean house, ah yes! Tell them Jeannette!

For Netbella, how about asking her? my husband always asks me because I probably am the hardest person to buy for; I also know exactly what I want so he knows when I say I'd like something, it's what I really want.

As for me? This year I want to learn to enjoy and relax. Can that be bottled or wrapped?

If it can, I would love that as my Mother's Day gift

I would love a mothers ring, but since I have never mentioned it to my husband I'm sure I won't be getting one LOL.
I think I want a plant for my mothers day this year

Yes, plants are living things and I love getting them, too.

Yes, Kristen and Michelle, it can be!! I once saw such a delightful gift on the Oprah show, one that she says she REGULARLY gives to herself and was showing her audience how to give it others! A candlelight bath with bath salts, with a soft robe, wine, lotions etc in a nice basket wrapped and tied in a bow! smile You could make it "calgon" or bubbles, add some soft music, a glass of wine or warm tea then add a "do not disturb" sign on the door for a bit of relaxing and enjoyment! wink I love the candles and sometimes I even add my little portable whirlpool. It really "does take me away", (as we break into the song) laugh refreshes me and makes me ready for whatever comes next.

I am happy to have my hubby with me and maybe we'll get some flowers or plants for outdoors. After 27 years of marriage, I am glad that I still have HIM at home with me, since the kids are all grown and gone. wink

Happy Mother's Day to all of You at Bella. I hope that each of you have a wonderful, memorable Mother's Day and get a chance to indulge yourself in a "pampering, relaxing mini-vacation, too! smile

I want some time alone with my husband!

I love my kids - but these past few months I feel like I'm married to them instead of David. We are always running to Michael's kayaking or Jordan's cheerleading, and then Seth is just 4 - 'nuff said!

I would love to go on a weekend getaway and have some uninterrupted "couple time". crazy
