BellaOnline Forums Home and Garden Houseplants leaves are fallin off my Schefflera arbicola

Can anyone give me advice on why the leaves are just fallin off my plant..just put it in a pot about 3 weeks ago..It stays inside. I dont have alot of light in my apt but you dont even have to touch it and it is gettin bare. I water it about once a week. Please help. Thank you

Latisha, it could be anything from the amount of water (too much, too little) or it may even still be in shock about the repotting you gave it. try to put it in the brightest possible place in your apartment and give it a little time to adjust. Also make sure that it is not near any drafts, like from an A/C, or that it is not baking in an un-ventilated room.
