Hello!
I just wanted to share with you all a small thing I did. One night I couldn't sleep so I loom knitted a scrunchie/ponytail holder. Then I still couldn't sleep so I embroidered BW on it for my daughter. Then I added some ribbon going in and out of it and then a little bow on top of it.
The reason why I am writing this is because I thought it would be hard to see the lettering in the knits but it's not bad.

I have a picture posted here if you want to see it.

Dora -

That's beautiful! I too am pleasantly surprised at how visible the monogram is. Is that machine embroidery?

Yes, I used my embroidery machine. It's a Janome 9500. All I did was use the lettering that is in the machine (I didn't digitize it at all.) I did use a top stablizer and a bottom one too but it came out pretty good for me being so new to all of this.

I can wait to make the next baby blanket and do this same thing on the corner of it (well with the baby's name of course..lol..)

Dora that is great! I aboslutely love it. You know, that's the sort of project that you could make to sell at markets, etc.

I can't wait to see what you do with the baby blanket too.

Thank-you! I liked how it turned out too. I wasn't too sure how it would end up because I didn't think the knit would stay back enough for the embroidery to show up.

I did do another one with fun fur. I posted free mini movies on how I did it. Your more then welcome to check it out. You'd have to change the yarn to something like what I did on the other one so you'd be able to see the embroidery better.
