Since we don't have a cheerleading or gymnastics site, I figured this was (barely) close!

My daughter (9) is in competitive cheerleading, and we just got done with a competition in destin, so I wanted to brag!

I'm so proud of her - she has come so far in just a year and is really loving the cheerleading. But it does scare me sometimes because she is a "flyer" - meaning she's the one that gets tossed up in the air! She's already had a broken finger, although it was from missing a backhandspring, and not getting dropped (that's what really terrifies me!)

Cheerleading is really big here in Texas. Congrats to your daughter in her cheering achievements! She's very cute.

Oh yeah! One of the biggest competitions is held in Dallas - COA I believe is the event.
