Over the last several weeks, I have made several recommendations for vertical mice for my clients with forearm pain. The look of relief on their faces as they use the clinical model is priceless.

Rotating the forearm into a more neutral position (as when shaking hands) relieves tension on the muscle-tendon unit as well as the nerve. When using a mouse, maneuver the mouse using the larger muscles of the arm rather than using wrist movement. Keep the mouse in close to the keyboard. To relieve any shoulder strain, do not position your mouse too far forward, too far out to the side, or too high.

The Evoluent Vertical Mouse not only feels good, but also looks good. The feel is not too extremly different from a regular mouse but significantly relieves forearm tension.
