I had not known much aboutbisexuals till some months back, so this question. A boy posted on a forum that his g/f is cheating him. She is now adays spending more time with her g/f. This boy's g/f is bisexual.

Is this cheating? Or will it called cheating if the girl goes with another boy and not a girl? I am confused.

It doesn't make a difference which gender a person is fooling around with, or even if there is sex or not (there are emotional affairs, too). What matters is this: If the boy and girl say they're in a monogamous relationship, and they both agree on the rules of that, then each must honor that. If they are not in a committed monogamous relationship and both of them agree on what's OK to do with others and what's not OK, then I don't see a problem as long as there's honesty.

It's the deception that really hurts, on top of the betrayal.

It's cheating. The gender of the person she's having sex with doesn't matter in the least.

Incidentally, I have a male friend who had exactly the same thing to him. In his case, his curious, bisexual girlfriend had a fling with another female, which quickly developed into an all-out affair. The girlfriend eventually ended up declaring herself a lesbian, which she still is to this day.

At least he got the diamond engagement ring he had purchased her back before she started shacking up with her new girlfriend.

So he is happy at least about the ring.

Does a bisexual have same emotional attachment with both the sexes? If yes, that can be emotional cheating. I am getting confused.

Yes bisexual are able to attach equally, and attract equally - though some bisexuals are in open relationships that allow them to have both a bf and a gf.

My basic litmus test for anything that may be wrong is to ask yourself one question. 'Can I proudly tell my partner about this?' If the answer is no, then it's wrong.
