I took my son to the Snow Patrol concert this past Wednesday night, it was his first concert (he's 15) and he'd been really excited about it. He's aboslutely crazy about Snow Patrol, and I like their music, too.
The concert was great! We had such a blast. But I've got to say, as much as I enjoyed Snow Patrol (which was a lot); it was one of their opening acts that is definitely on my radar -
OK Go!
They're that crazy band that has all of the wild videos out, and they put on an amazing stage show! The lead singer (gotta find out his name) was so charming - it was as much fun listening to him banter with the audience as it was listening to their music. And they really get involved with the audience, too!
So if you haven't checked either of these bands out yet - DO SO!
(Wasn't so crazy about their other opener; Silversun Pickups - just so-so.)
