First you have to establish - what is negative.
Once i heard some one said.
What i like is positive.
What i don't like is negative.
For plant to keep on growing - it will absorb any energy in it's surrounding. Pl. give some examples of negative. Ifstars do not favor me, will my home attract negative energy?

Hi Claire I also have three coins tied with red ribbon in the pot with my money plant (which looks great again now incidentally)! As I understand it the best placement for wealth luck is South East and plants really are not great in SW as wood energy is unfortunate there- it destroys Earth element which is the main one in this sector. Other places that benefit from wood energy are the South- Fame & the East- Family

A money plant in feng shui terms is a crassula- a form of succulent with rounded fat leaves (a bit like coins). However plants make lovely 'abundance' gifts as they continue to grow, so why not go ahead if you feel she will use the herb and enjoy the plant?
