No country wants to use them. But all wish to have them. Ultimately what will happen to all these weapons. say after 100 years?

The possibilities are three-

More will get made
all weapons will be destroyed by the makers
Somebody will accidently fire one and begin a war and we will have total destruction of the world.

I hope all nations around the world abolish these weapons.

that would be ideal but it is highly unlikely. This is because the countries that have them are very reluctant to give them up and understandably so. having nuclear weapons makes a country a superpower, and that kind of power is very hard to give up.

yes, but we are talking about the most powerful weapons on earth and we know how hungry humans are for power. Only a fool would give up that kind of power.
Nuclear weapons are also for defense because they act as a deterrent against nuclear attacks. A country that has nuclear power is untouchable because, well it has nuclear power. I really just don't see a country with nuclear weapons ever giving them up.

Yes, let us hope that a nuclear war will never happen for the survival of the human race and other living things.

A nuclear war will happen of that I have no doubt in my mind at all.It will start in the middle east and end in the middle east but it will affect the whooe world and change the way we live.

The middle east are so close to perfecting a nuclear weapon and they are crazy enough to use it. America will have no choice but to respond.There will be destruction like this world has never seen before but in the end goodness wil win out but untill then its going to be very difficult and all we can do is keep the faith.

I dislike any weapon especially atomic one and I think if we have such weapon never use it at all but such prestigious are destroying my country any way. After Saddam and Taliban my country need not any weapon I think. We aren't offensive people I think but I don't know why our crazy governments choose such way. Hope for peace.

Who choose which country has such right to obtain atomic weapon? Who guaranty USA won't use it any time or other countries? Why we have not to try to control all countries in such way?

The reality is if one nation has an atomic weapon ....other nations NEED to have it...its called deterence, in the same way nuclear deterence works...No one will take lightly to launchign a nuclear weapon for fear of one being pointed right back at them, the same applies to atomic weapons. Unless all atomic weapons are disarmed,and dismantled at the same time, it isn't safe for select nations to destroy said weapons, it will offset the balance.

There is oil elsewhere the price will just skyrocket - and once again nuclear deterence in theory should prevent the middle east from starting a war. If the middle east is undr the impression they can start a nuclear war they are not only naive but blind, every nation in the UN holding nuclear and atomic weapons would point them directly at the offending party - once again deterence.

I don't think that Iran or any other middle east country wants to start a nuclear war. They just want to have the protection and the influence that a nuclear weapon can offer. Le's face it, a nation that has nuclear weapons will gain attention and respect.

Iran will have a nuclear weapon soon but the difference between them and other nations who have the weapons is that they are mad enough to use them

Most of us are looki at Iran with suspicion. Again a Bush creation.
The real threat is from- Atomic Bombs of pakistan falling in hands of Taliban. Then it will be real bad. US govt. knows about that but avoids public discussion.
