I get many emails asking "Why does my plant have yellow leaves?"

This weeks article hits on some of the main reasons they show up on otherwise perfectly healthy plants.

Thanks Wendy! I have not repotted anything in several years. I have a spider plant that I repot every year as it is too big for a new pot so I cut half of the root ball away and give it new dirt. I haven't repotted anything else. I will have to pick up some soil today.

Take your time in doing it, no need to over do it for yourself or your plants....I remember in NH I would have repotting days and and it literally took me days. Good Luck!

It'll be a while before I can work on repotting. I like to do it in my basement where all my pots are. I have a tray from my birdcage that is almost too big to carry that I like to repot on and when I am done I have an easy cleanup. I hurt my knee and am doing physical therapy so I am really trying to be careful and not overdo it!

Sounds almost as good as an outdoor potting bench Connie, and please DO take care of your knee, my Mom hurt hers a few years back and had to go and do PT while the rest of us did the house work. I will say cooking for 5 was fun at the time, but lugging laundry upstairs wasn't wink

One of my personal favorites, as I inherited my grandmothers then 10+ year old Sansevieria 10+ years ago.
