43.6 million People in the US are uninsured and underinsured?
By the year 2016, health Care spending will total nearly $4 trillion, economists at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said in a report released Wednesday February 21, 2007.
WASHINGTON - Health care is expected to account for $1 of every $5 spent in the United States in another decade. That means a rise in out-of-pocket expenses, such as the co-pays for medicine, from about $850 this year to about $1,400 in 2016, a 5.3 percent annual increase. The cost of health insurance is projected to rise even more quickly during that same time to 6.4 percent annually. Over the coming decade, spending on health care will continue to outpace the overall economy.
Census: More Americans Are Losing Coverage
Earlier--On September 30, 2006 the front pages of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post all delivered the bad news from the Census: The number of Americans lacking health insurance climbed by 5.7 percent in 2002, to 43.6 millionthe largest single increase in a decade. Diane Rowland, vice president of the Kaiser Family Foundation and executive director of the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured, testified before Congress on the fragile state of American Health Care.
The health care crisis in the US is a major concern nationwide. Consumers are looking for alternatives. A rapidly expanding industry, Consumer Driven Health Care (CDHC) is revolutionizing health care. The leading CDHC company AmeriPlanUSA emphatically states, This is not an insurance plan but a benefit plan. They offer reduced prices on services such as dental, eye care, prescription drugs and medical services. Reductions of 50% to 80% are not unheard of.
Advocating for reduced prices produces savings for the underinsured and the uninsured alike. Representatives are being interviewed as the nationwide Work-from-Home system expands rapidly. Ingeniously, one can save money or make money or both. AmeriPlanUSA is one of the Best Business Opportunities today.
