BellaOnline Forums Sports Bowling Improving My AVG

Hey, im 15 and this summer my and my friends are bowling about once a week. My average right now is about 87. My first question is, Is this a low high, or normal average for my age? ( im a guy )
My second question is how could i improve faster, particularly to about 105 ( to beat one of my girlfriends ) I cant do the whole cleaning of the equipment since we use what the alley provides.

I'm a bowling instructor for our local college and also past youth coach. I think what you probably could concentrate on is probably keeping your shoulders square to the lane and picking up more spares during your game. Just a small adjustment like that can improve your game immediately. Also, you could check with your local center to see if there is a youth program, if you're interested, they provide free instruction.
