Noone sees eye to eye on anything it seems. Classic films are no different. So what movie does everyone just love, but you don't get it? You just hate it no matter how many times you see it.

I didn't like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I understand what it was saying. I just didn't like the movie.

The Long Weekend (I hope I'm associating the right title)--The one where the guy is an alcoholic and he goes on like a 3-day bender. I just really couldn't get into that one.

I disliked Pinic. I watched it the other day. I was sick of the "Baby" every other word from William Holden by the time it ended.

William Holden is from another era, does not communicate well with modern audiences.

One classic film i have never liked was "2001:A Space Odessey". The music and visual effects are amazing, especially considering it was release in 1968 or 69. Unfortunately, the story is impossible to follow. It makes no sense. I have been told I should read the book, but I should not have to read the book to understand the movie. There is a great deal of symbolism in the movie, but the story is very hard, if not impossible, to follow.

Two Thumbs Down.
