Because they are taught to think that way, even in developed countries there is a message that men are better at that sort of thing, I personally would seek either a woman or a man for an important decesion..

Honestly I never think about whether it's a man or woman. I try to go to the "expert" in whatever field I have a question about. I usually google the hell out of something and make the decision myself!

Not in the least, anyone who has that position has earned it, I might be slightly more skeptical of male in that position and wonder if he truely earned the job or if he just recieved it because he had the right genitals
