BellaOnline Forums Hobbies and Crafts Spinning percentages of rabbit hair to wool

I was wondering - what magic numbers do the rest of you out there use when you are combining something like angora rabbit with wool? I've seen many different numbers thrown around on the web, but was looking for personal input. Anybody want to share? This is one fiber I haven't spun yet, and am planning on getting some in the near future.

I have used 25% angora, 50% wool or I do blends of 25% wool, 25% mohair, 25% angora and 25% llama. Sometimes less angora depending what I am using the yarn for and the texture I want.

How do you blend your angora? I am never successful with handcarders - it is so fine I normally end up with more on me than through the wheel! I spin a single on its own and then ply it with something else.
