I know this is very vague and probably not enough information to determine what type of bird this is, but maybe somebody can help me.

Its a black and white bird about the size of a small crow. Ive only seen it in southern Spain. The wild bird is common, seen just about everywhere.

Like I mentioned, very vague. This is all I know about this bird. Can anyone help? Suggestions on what it might be? suvari7@yahoo.com
