Im trying out a low carb/high protien diet. I need some help or advise from someone on this. <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />So if anyone can help me out it will greatly be appreciated.

YOu should get a copy of the South Beach Diet. It advocates veggies, lean meat, lean cheese and some other things so you don't starve and you still get a balanced diet.

I'm on a similar plan. You don't want to cut all carbs out, of course, because we need them, but you want to try and eat mostly complex carbs like veggies, beans, wheat pasta, grains, etc. If you're going to eat simple carbs (think sugar), try to get those from fruit, milk or yogurt.

Just a balanced diet with whole grains, fruits, and vegies. I try to stay away from canned foods. They can be packed with sodium. Also, there is this company called Silver Creek Specialty Meats who make chicken breast strips. They are super lean and packed with flavor. I eat for a snack throughout the work day because they make you feel full and the lean protein is great for keeping me going. You should try it out...www.silvercreekspecialtymeats.com
