Are they easy to tame?

But to answer your question - yes they are cute, but unless you get yourself a handfed bird, they are not always easy to tame. With plenty of patience it can be done however.

If you get a pair, they will bond to each other instead of you and will be very difficult to tame (unless they have been handfed). Contrary to popular belief it is not necessary to keep Lovebirds in pairs and they actually make a better pet when you have only one.
