What toys do your birds like the best?
My CAG, jewel like anything that I hang from the top of her cage (after she's had a few weeks to get used it of course). She loves to hang from the toy, flapping her wings.

My electus Loki loves foot toys, anything he can grab and roll around on the floor with. He especially likes Birdie Bagels, they are rings of really hard packed coloured cardboard that he can peel. I still can't figure out if he really likes bells, or really hates them. He gets really excited when he sees them, but he growls and attacks them until he gets the clanger out.

Maggie loves swinging upside down holding her toy, and trying to talk all at the same time. She's like a kid anything new she dives for it forget anything else. Loves all the foot toys. And burying herself under cushions.

None of my birds have every had any interest in foot toys - although I've heard of other birds who like those too.

Maggie sounds just like Jewel the way she likes to hang upside down to play with toys.

Caesar (my other CAG) just like toys to chew on - he doesn't play much.

Another kind of toy Loki goes crazy for are those plastic cat wiffle balls with the bells inside, we have to be careful when he has them though because they have those dangerous little closed bells in them.

Loki has a new toy, a very affordable one! It's one of those mini rawhide shoes. I put a pecan or an almond in it and he has a blast trying to get it out.

Of course, not every toy is perfect. One time the dog got through the defences and managed to steal Loki's shoe, perhaps it was retaliation for the time Loki stole the dogs rawhide chew.
One of these days those animals are going to give me a heart attack eek

HI Krissy,
I have seen those but never bought them. Maggie has similar and loves trying to get the nuts out. So thanks I will pick some up, its nice hearing about different toys. The birds just like people get bored with the same things.
Thanks Dawn
