Here is an easy way to see if your style doesn't suit you. All you have to do is pull your hair back off your face and study your reflection in a mirror. Really look at all of your features and decide which one you like the best. Let your hair fall down around your face. If suddenly you don't like your best feature as much as you did, obviously there is something wrong with your hair style.

A really good style should promote your best feature... gorgeous eyes, good jaw line etc. It should also draw the eye away from a bad feature. The trick is finding the right style. Feel free to browse through hairstyle magazines to find styles that appeal to you. Then, clip some photos and take them to the salon. Take a few moments to show the stylest what you like and then ask for his/her opinion. Don't be surprised if he doesn't agree with you. He will take into account the shape of your face and the texture of your hair. But, don't be discouraged either. There is a very good chance that he will be able to modify the style you want and make it work for you.
