Shortly before his death, Miles Davis said that Price was perhaps the most talented artist alive. That to me was a phenomenal endorsement. He's a top flight artist in my opinion.

Pop Quiz Time- Best Prince song ever is......?

Well anybody can argue that it's Purple Rain. Although it's an amazing song, I think that's still debatable. Especially based on the fact that Prince has such a huge catalog of music both released & unreleased.
People that call themselves Prince fans but are only familiar with or like his Purple Rain & 1999 stuff are not really true fans, and are missing out. Prince (both before & after the 80's) has put out some amazing music.

Do yourselves a favor and watch as many live Prince concerts as you can...both on dvd and in person if & when you can.
His superbowl performance upstaged all the other superbowl performances in the past, but is just a teaser or a small taste of how amazing & dymanic his live performances actually are!
