[color:" green"]This week, I'd like to focus on ways that we can get into the spirit of the season. Not necessarily just Christmas, but this time of the year in general. So, if you would please:

1. Share your family traditions for either Thanksgiving or Christmas or both
2. List 10 ways that you can prepare for the season
3. Post a scripture that will help you "Get into the Spirit"[/color]

1. Share your family traditions for either Thanksgiving or Christmas or both
~ Buy new PJ's for Christmas Eve
~ Make white hot chocolate
~ Read the story of Jesus' birth

2. List 10 ways that you can prepare for the season
~Mad dash to clean
~Buy some new holiday ornaments/decorations
~Play Christmas music
~Frantically try to put together all those handmade Christmas cards
~Don't forget the requisite letter
~Add photos of my little cherubs
~Pray for sanity or senility - whichever seems more appropriate at the time
~Buy crazy light up necklace and jingly-bell earrings to embarrass the boys
~Go shopping on Christmas Eve!
~Be a Secret Santa

3. Post a scripture that will help you "Get into the Spirit"
John 14:6
