Does anyone have a favorite memory of a moment in nature when you were so overwhelmed with inspiration that it took your breath away.

I remember visiting an aspen grove... I stood and looked up at the tops of the trees, and the tree-tops formed a perfect ring around a circle of blue sky! It took my breath away!

Oh so many! Here's one off the top of my head - we were driving through a pine forest in the mountains and just before a summit a cloud had lowered to drench the mountain top - we had this eerie view of huge pine trees veiled in misty cloud with the occasional shaft of sunlight glancing through. So beautiful.

And another: I saw a lake so still and crystal-calm that it reflected the trees and sky along the far bank identically in colour and sharpness - it was hard to tell precisely where the water ended and the real trees began it was such a perfect match.

Elle, that sounds pretty inspiring! I never cease to be amazed at how nature can take my breath away!

Once I visited a waterfall. The energy was so inspiring that it took my breath away. Even today, when I am tired, I think of the waterfall and its energy.

Many years ago I visited a tiny island off the coast of Tasmania. It was a perfect cloudless sunny day and I was lying on a great big rock on a soft towel. I remember how warm and delicious the sun felt on my skin. When I looked down from my rock into the water, it was an amazing teal color and so clear that I could see the bottom.
I think of this scene while meditating and instantly it puts me in a space of relaxation and peace.
