Hi! Does anyone enjoy studying Japanese language -- speaking, reading and writing?
I've been studying for about 9 years. I speak intermediate level Japanese and can write simple letters to my friends, and read simple books--but not newspapers or magazines.
I find the study fascinating and fun. I practice with my friends sometimes, or practice while watching anime or other Japanese films.
I used to work for a Japanese bank in the marketing dept. so at that time I had more opportunity to speak it. I visit Japan when I can, which always gives my speaking skills a boost. I taught my hubby a few words the last time we went so he could try them out.
What are your experiences, I wonder?
