The National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) voted to bar member institutions from setting college applications deadlines earlier than October 15 of a student's senior year and to bar member institutions from admitting students prior to September 15 of their senior year.
This will essentially remove the "early admissions" opportunity for many students.
