I have been reading that British actor Daniel Craig is the new Jameas Bond. I am thinking that *maybe* this time, the powers that be may have gotten it right. I think Craig will make an excellent Bond and can't wait to see "Casino Royale" come November. Can't recall who the leading lady will be.
Any loud yahs or nays concerning the new Bond?

Ask me after the movie comes out. I'm pretty curious to see a stunt/chase sequence that features the top European parkour practitioner as the person being chased.

Mmmm... I'm a major Sean Connery fan.
Pierce Brosnan was okay, but...
I'll just wait and see.

I've got a poll going over on my James Bond lens at Squidoo and Connery is clearing winning right now. I expect some of the voting to be different once Casino Royale opens.

I can't wait for this to come out. After watching the trailer I am ready for it to be playing already.

While waiting for the 'new' Bond man. I watched Dr. No last night, the first Bond movie. As I was watching the film, I realized that there were no gadgets, just Bond trying to round up the bad guys. My goodness, everyone was so young--Sean Connery, Ursula Andress, Jack Lord. I really enjoyed watching this again
By the way Rae, I really like your Bond site.

Well, wasn't he in one of those Angelina Jolie things? as the boy toy?? He looks kinda pouty to me...I outgrew pouty men a loooooooooog time ago. Do not get me wrong; I'll go see the movie but speaking as a Sean connery fan;eventhough he does claim to have struck his wife...("because she needed it")I cannot stop myself...

Thanks, Vannie!
BTW, did you notice that in the trailer for Casino Royale, they have Daniel Craig wearing a pair of blue swim trunks that are the same as the ones worn by Connery in Dr. No?

Roni, don't make me dislike Craig before I have a chance to see him (LOL) "Pouty"? Mmmm.
Since Connery's wife appears to be staying with him I am hopeful that she explained the rules, "touch me again and I am outta here." I am a fan also. But watching Dr. No the other night, I did notice that his suit was somewhat ill-fitting. Yeh, I know that's shallow
Rae, I did not notice, will check it out. I wonder if that is for good luck??

Gigantic thumbs up! Before Daniel Craig took over my favorite James Bond was Roger Moore. For me he plays that character perfectly. I have never read any of the books so I don't know if he plays Bond like in the books but in my mind I always imagined James to walk, talk, run and smile a certain way and he nailed all of that exactly. I only saw one of the movies when he was played by Pierce Brosnan and he was average. As far as Sean Connery goes as an actor I have no problem with him but I never could watch one of the James Bond movies with him, could not stand more than a few minutes.
