I love hot or really spices cheeses. Last Christmas I was given Pepper Jack Cheese which I was familiar with and Chipolte Pepper Gouda. The Chipolte Pepper Goulda was new to me but delicious.
Does anyone else love these hot cheeses?

I love Pepper Jack Cheese. I have not seen the Chipolte Pepper Gouda but I do like regular Gouda. I will have to look for the Chipolte one on my next shopping trip.

Pepper Jack is one of my favorites. I like regular gouda with a hot, spicy mustard too. Horseradish cheese is also very good.

Oohh. I have never had regular gouda with spicy mustard. Have never seeen horseradish cheese but will try to find and give it a try.
Kris, I think you would like peppered gouda.
I received my Stop and Shop e-mail flyer today and see that there is a peppered brie on sale. Not sure about that one though, I love brie just the way it is. That's my special "I deserve the good things in life" cheese. (LOL)

I will have to see if I can find some of these, they sound so good. I think I could handle any of these as long as bleu cheese is not involved.

I have recently re-discovered Havarti cheese. The Safeway house brand is one of the least expensive - best tasting and they also carry a wonderful Jalapeno Havarti. Anything "Chipotle" is always worth trying.

TrueTexan,
"Anything "Chipotle" is always worth trying." I could not have said it better. LOL
Gee, I have not had Havarti cheese in years. I'll have to put Jalapeno Havarti on my list to buy. It sounds like the best of both worlds. I often buy Stop & Shop brand products. Yesterday I bought their Feta Cheese, this is my first time trying it. House brands can be the way to go, when you want special items but don't want to spend a fortune.

YUM! Tried that at a party not long ago...
Although a long standing staple at Southern gatherings and not technically a 'prepared hot cheese', try a large block of Cream cheese placed on a plate, covered in 1/2 a bottle of Tiger Sauce. (Yes, thats it. Trust me - it ROCKS!)
Serve with crostini, multi-grain crackers or vegetables/fruit (carrots, celery, sweet green pepper, cucumber sticks, apple slices, Zucchini sticks - any firm vegetable or fruit pieces...)
It fills the deep need for Sweet and Hot. (and crunchy.)
Well behaved women rarely make history.....

ArtGlam,
I have used other spicy toppers for cream cheese, but have never heard on Tiger Sauce. I went to internet to check it out. All I can say is oh-yum.
I have to pick up a couple of items today, will look for Tiger Sauce--hope it's not a regional item.

Me too. I suspect there are 100's of recipes for cheese balls, but here is good one for Pepper Jack cheese.
Spicy Cheese Ball
1 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded 2 cups cheddar cheese , shredded 8 oz cream cheese, room temp. 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1 cup chopped walnuts
Mix all ingredients together, cover with clear wrap and refrigerate until mixture is fairly stiff. Shape into a ball and roll in chopped walnuts.
Or spray a small container with veggie oil and press cheese in mold. Return to fridge for an hour or so. Release cheese from mold and press chopped walnuts into cheese.
This makes 4 cups of flavored cheese.
