My two year old daughter went through a stage of taking her diaper off before making any noise after waking up from a nap and proceeded to smear the poo on the walls by her bed. This isssue is solved but my problem is though i scrubbed this icky mess after i found it each time there is a stain on my wall. The walls are painted white and im in an apartment and the apartment people are very upset about it. I cant paint it due to the new paint smells bother my kids. I have tried bleach, The Works, even lysol directly on it ( which by the way makes the paint on your walls literally come off and run down the wall! <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> ) im running out of things to try, ive tried many many different chemicals scrubbing pads etc , any one have any suggestion???

You may just have to paint over it and have the kids sleep in another room until it's completely dry and doesn't smell as strong. I can't imagine that it will bother them more than the smell of the bleach and other cleaners that you have tried.

Can't offer any cleaning advice, but I used Sherwin Williams low/no VOC paint in a room next to a room containing thousands of dollars worth of parrots (highly sensitive). Within an hour of painting there was literally no smell.

well i guess ima just have to paint it:( really didnt want to have to, and as far as the cleaning chemicals smell ive washed that spot a thousand times w hot water, when you put your nose against it there is no smell. I just hoped maybe there was an alternative to get out the discoloration.

I would be certain that the new nursery wall paint was more washable than the previous seemed to be.

This is just a thought, but if the offending spot is far enough out of baby's reach you might consider simply covering it up with some baby themed stickers or wallies.
