Hey everyone!

Just in case anyone has been watching out for the Slim Quick diet to start...I didn't cancel or give up. I decided to really be official and get a physical before I started the diet. So, bloodwork will be back today or tomorrow and as long as all is ok with that...the diet begins on Monday. And I am off to buy lots of chocolate for the weekend before!

I am starting a diet and excersise program using a product called SlimQuick that I am doing a product review on.

I took the first dose today. I am starting at 165 lbs so we will see what I am at in 30 days.

I feel about the same as usual today...maybe a little less sleepy in the afternoon. So far, so good.

I used to go on many diets for many years. Believe me forget the word DIET. Think of changing your whole life style for your whole life. That means changing eating habits. Have your pig outs when you go out but when home stick to your healthy eating. 6 years ago my husband and I did that as we were over-weight, becoming unhealthy and now we are both fit, even the doctor is proud of us and we are seniors.

Good for you!!! I am impressed. I am so lazy about my health. I am really hoping this works. I do feel more energetic. I am eating healthy and I am walking and lifting weights so....cross your fingers.

I am happy to report that I don't feel sick, queasy or anything unusual. I was a little concerned that I would.

Just checking in. Still going strong. The diet and excersise are not bad. I have lost my first pound so this is exciting! And I am not feeling tired at all. In fact, I feel rather good so I am happy.

Have a great day!

Toetapping, what was your "plan" or "system" or whatever you could call it? My husband and I are at that same point right now, and it's great to hear about your success.

Whoo Hooo!!! 3 pounds lost and I feel great. No side effects at all and the diet has been easy. No cravings, no hunger pains.

Barbara, I want to know how Toetapping did it too! I see you are a fellow Floridian. I am in the Tampa area. Are you anywhere near Tampa?

Congratulations, Lisa! That's terrific news! I am about the same weight as you and have been trying to drop ANY amount of weight for a few years now. I try to stay away from processed food and I work out 3-4 times a week, but no weight ever drops. I guess I should be glad I'm not GAINING, but I would love to see a drop.

Could you share the Slim Quick diet and exercise guidelines? Maybe there will be a nuget in there that I could try.

Many thanks and keep on losing!
Kathy

Kathy,

It is really just eat sensible and excersise and take the pills. I have lost nine pounds so far and I feel great. I am walking every day and doing weight training every other day. I cut way back on carbs and am eating lots of raw foods...fruit and vegies.

I really haven't felt like I was on a diet but I sure do feel less tired. That is the best part. I don't have to struggle to keep my eyes open in the afternoons.

I think that posting here is helping a lot too. I have to be accountable. If I cheat and don't lose any weight, I have to tell you guys. :-) So, anyone that is trying to diet and needs some encouragement or help, post here!!! We will cheer you on!

Thanks all!

Ok I was at Wal-Mart and I saw Slim Quick on the shelf I thought I'd give it a try. Tomorrow I will start. I did start the excercises today though. I wanted to check out what people thought about it tonight online before I started taking it. I am excited, especially to see that you have already lost 9 lbs. I am 5'10" I weigh 175. I would like to get down to at least 140. That is my goal. I know I can do it. We can do it. [color:"blue"] [/color]

The Slimquick label says: Do not use if you have thyroid disease.

Lisa: Congratulations on your loss thus far. Do you use your diet and training log? When do you take you Slimquick? It says before breakfast and then six hours later but I for one do not eat dinner 6 hours after breakfast like the log shows! Just wondered how you're spacing it. I thought it more important to follow the 6 hours and take it before lunch instead of dinner.

Today is my third day using Slimquick and I am happy so far. I have not weighed myself, however, I have not had even one craving and I have lots of energy without the jitters. This is the 4th pill I have ever tried and have never had result from them because they have all given me the jitters and I had to stop before they could do anything for me. I am so determined this time that I have been reading everything I can find about diet and exercise. I knew a lot already but have learned so many valuable things this round that have really made sense and have motivated me. I want to share them so maybe others can learn too. I have put what I have read into simpler terms.

First I want to say that I am 5'3" and weigh 165lbs. A year ago I weighed 117lbs. I went through something too awful to mention and let myself go. I am especially struggling because prior to weighing 117, I weighed 134 my whole life. The awful experience caused me to lose the weight without trying and the post-tramatic stress and depression caused me to gain almost 50lbs. I have fixed my mental health and now want to fix my physical health. I want my confidence back. Right now I hate leaving the house for fear someone will see me who knows me and be thinking the obvious; How fat I've gotten. I hate mirrors and seeing pictures of myself. So this is very important to me. My first goal in losing the weight was to educate myself. I have made the common mistakes already by thinking I could try a pill and still eat what I wanted and skip the exercise. I have gone to the gym 5 days a week only to see no results because I still ate what I wanted. And I have tried to simply quit eating. None of these ways are the right way and they are nothing but ignorant. I am now applying Slimquick with proper diet and excercising 5 days a week. I have completely eliminated alcohol and simple as well as refined carbs. It has really not been that difficult!!! Here is what I learned and wanted to share.

All food is composed of three major components: protein, carbohydrates and fat. All three incombination are necessary to successfully lose weight, it only involves choosing correctly.

PROTEIN allows us to access stored energy (fat) and builds and repairs our bodies (during excercise). Consuming too much protein (as you've heard about red meat) is bad as well. Smart sources include: fish, chicken, turkey, low-fat dairy, soy foods and beans.

CARBOHYDRATES are the most complex element in food and cannot be eliminated completely like in the Atkins diet. Without them, blood sugars spike and dip causing nervousness, anxiety and food cravings. This is where most of us lose our dieting focus. Simple carbs (table sugar, soda, and candy) absorb quickly in to the bloodstream, as do refined carbohydrates like white bread, most cereal, pasta, and white rice. These have had their fiber and bran milled away. Eating them cause an immediate "sugar rush" and then a fast plummet, resulting in your next craving. And believe me, it is not a craving you can resist without being cranky!! At least this is the case with me and last I knew we were all relatively the same on the inside. Here is where the term complex carbohydrates comes into play. I take complex to mean that they take longer to absorb. The speed of carbohydrate absorbtion is so important because the speed determines how much of the hormone called insulin will be produced. Insulin's job is to bring nutrients into cells and to store fat. Therefore, FAST ABSORBTION = MORE INSULIN = MORE FAT STORED. Makes sense right? Complex carbs still have their fiber. Fiber regulates the blood glucose.

FAT is the element in food that supplies us with energy and balances our hormones ( like insulin and cholcystokinin, which signals our brain when we are full and need to stop eating.) Fat also regulates blood sugar and controls hunger. So this must also not be eliminated. There are three types of fat: Saturated, polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated. I take saturated to mean just what it says and common sense tells me to limit these. We have also heard of trans-fat or trans-fatty acids. These are highly processed fats called hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated, such as margarine and shortening. These are absolutely horrible for you. It is actually better to use real butter sparingly than these alternatives. And read labels. Remember when Oreo cookies got all that attention for having the trans-fat? It's in a lot of the foods we eat but it is law to have trans-fat shown on food labels. Not even .5mg is acceptable.

Ever heard of Winsor Pilates? The book has some great tips:

1. Never go more than 5 hours without eating (keeps hormones balanced like insulin and cholecystokinin)

2. Drink lots of water. It breaks down fat and flushes toxins

3. No soda!!!!!!!!!!!

4. No juice!!!!!!!!!!! Always eat the fruit instead. Juice = Sugar

5. Eat breakfast within one hour of rising

6. If you get hungry after dinner, eat a healthy snack no later than one hour before bed. This will help you sleep and keep your metabolism working.

I hope what I wrote here was helpful and easy to understand. I know it seems like there aren't many choices left when we eliminate what is bad for us, but I have purposely searched for great healthy recipes and they are all very quick to prepare. For instance, who likes sauteed mushrooms? They taste like steak right? Sauteed means drenched in butter. I had some with dinner tonight but I cookied them in low-sodium beef broth. They tasted exactly the same!! I have tried to eliminate every aspect that might discourage me. I will be glad to answer any questions. I also have recipes and have learned which foods are good sources of fiber, and which have bad fats and what can substitute where you used to use bread or cereal or potatoes. You would be surprised to know that what you think is healthy really is not. I am not an expert and far from a doctor. I am just super determined and wanted to obtain some knowledge that made sense to me. If nothing else, it has helped me to write this all here. I will now retain it better

Good luck to all and please check back because I will be weighing myself at the two week mark and no sooner so as not to discourage myself!!! These things can take time ya know?

I am here!! I have been so busy I can't believe it.

Ok. So, I have been doing this about three weeks. I seem to be stuck. I have lost 17 pounds so far so I am not complaining. I have been eating pretty much whatever I want within reason. Obviously, cake and cookies and greasy cheeseburgers are not on the list but I haven't been counting every calorie or anything either. I am still walking every day.

In answer to the thyroid thing, I have hypothyroidism and I am taking it but I got approval from my Dr. before I started the diet. I took it with me and showed it to my Dr. to be very clear and because my thyroid levels are steady and under control, I was ok to take it.

Brillyantdisgize: I do not use the log. I just have not had the time. I take it before breakfast and then I take it at 1:00 and eat lunch at 2:00. I don't really eat one big meal for lunch. I eat breakfast and then kind of graze throughout the day and then eat dinner. Nothing but water after dinner. Great ideas and help in your post. Thank you for sharing your research with us.

I am so proud of myself for doing this and it really seems to be making a difference in alot of areas of my life.

Keep losing and heading towards better health!

Anyone else dieting with us? Keep me posted on how its going!

You are not alone! I have just started the slimquick diet and exercise program on Monday Oct 16th and I am already seeing results (3 pounds)! I get a little hungry at night as we eat our dinner around 5:30 (2 little kiddies to feed) so by 9:30 I usually have a piece of fruit. I feel really great and am not really having any cravings. How are you feeling? Is it working for you? I will keep you posted on my prgress....I hope my results after 3 weeks are as good as Lisa's!
If anyone else is doing the diet please keep us posted on your progress too. It makes dieting so much easier with support!

Hi,

First post here. I'm starting on Monday. Lisa, your results so far are fantastic! Keep it up! They're very motivating.

My stats are 5'6", 164 lbs. I had surgery about 6 weeks ago and put on a few lbs. during my recovery. But due to chronic pain and two other surgeries in the past year, I haven't been as active as I would like. I will do my best to keep up with the eating and try to exercise when I can.

I'll keep up with my progress here.

:-)

I am still going strong!! I have not weighed myself yet because I am afraid to. Today is Day 12. I want to weigh on Day 14 (friday), but like I said, I am scared. I have researched til I was blue in the face because I really wanted to understand how our bodies work so I could actually get some good results this time. It would be heartbreaking to find that all my hard work might not have yielded any results.

Today at the gym, my girlfriend and I were discussing this weighing ourselves issue and she said she would look at the numbers and only give me good news!! Lol. She is eating well and excercising too. I motivated her! How about that? She says she notices her clothes fitting better, but I don't wear tight fitting clothing on most days, so I haven't really noticed.

One obstacle for me is having a set schedule with my eating. I try, I really really do, but no two days are alike for me. I pack foods and take them when I do errands and things, but I never seem to wake at the same time and the schedule always ends up different. Does anyone know if our hours of sleep affect metabolism? I always get enough, but it can vary from 6-10 hours depending on how late I stay up. If I am up too late after dinner, I will have a piece of fruit to keep my metabolism going.

I have found myself losing a little motivation when other aspects of my life get too busy. For instance I moved on Sunday and was exhausted the next two days and skipped the gym. Back today though. I'm hoping my diligence will pay off. I suppose it's okay to have a break or a bite of chocolate cake, but somehow I feel like that attitude isn't going to get me results, even though it is a more healthy and realistic attitude to have! Any advice?

So, other than that, how is everyone doing? Mary? 30? Memom?

Check back and see my results on Friday. It's the big day! The moment of truth.

Way to go Brillyantdisgize!!

I am still going strong and find myself feeling really great. I am following the advanced work out proram and taking the pills and on the rest days I am still doing about 40 minutes of cardio. My clothes are fitting looser and I'm losing a lot of belly fat which is great.
I haven't gotten on the scale again as I want to wait until my 4th week to do that.
I'm trying to follow the eating plan but with a husband and 2 small children it's a little hard but I'm eating pretty good. I know it's working though because 2 weeks ago I was a tight size 10 and now I fit into a size 9!!

I'm finding that I am not jittery at all. I am also drinking about 4 cups of Oolong tea everyday and have had people comment of how healthy snd vibrant I am looking, which I've never had before. The Oolong is suppose to aid in weight loss as well and tastes great and combined with the slimquick seems to be working well!

Any updates from anyone else?

I just started it after reading Lisa's experience, but like you, I want to know how she is doing?

Here's how I'm doing so far:

First day everything went fine with the two pills. I didn't feel anything out of the norm.
Second day, I was very busy and I took the second pill kind of 8 hours after. I had to work very early that day and I was wide awake through the night. I didn't experience any jitters or a fast heart rate. I guess is my own fault for not taking it within the specific time.

I have not started working out, but I am eating healthy.

Hi!

It seems like everyone is doing well. Today is day 5 for me. I've lost 2 lbs so far. My appetite has decreased and I don't seem to have any cravings. I haven't experienced any side effects at all. I think I've noticed that I feel warm in the afternoon... my face feels hot. Has anyone else noticed that? So, on Monday I start with 2 pills. We'll see how that goes. My eating has been pretty good. My exercise, besides walking has been non-existent - still dealing with chronic pain.

I'm anxious to hear how Lisa is doing. Something I noticed with her weight loss was that she didn't lose a large amount in the first week, like with most diets. It appears that she lost about 3lbs in the first week... but after 3 weeks had lost 17.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi i just started taking the slimquick pills, this is my second day. I am feeling the hot-face side effect you are experiencing. It is on the left side of my face and it feels warm and itches. Does anyone know if this is a dangerous side effect or just my bodies reaction to a foreign pill? I have never taken a diet pill before but thought I would give it a try. Please let me know! Thanks! and good luck to everyone on this diet!

Good Job ladies!! You have helped me to decide to do the SlimQuick Diet plan. I will be starting this tomorrow.
I'll keep you updated. Right now I am 5'4 254lbs... I gained about 100 lbs over the last 3 years while fighting with hypothyroidism...and now that things have been level, I decided to try something else...
How's it been going for everyone else on this so far?

I would also be interesting in knowing if it will interfere with birth control. Anyone know?? I picked up a bottle of SlimQuick today at the store. I actually started dieting/exercising about 3 weeks ago and have so far lost about 6 pounds (and if I was honest it was two weeks as this last week has been kind of on and off with the diet part lol- still exercising though). I was taking another fat burner supplement for a bit but found it gave me heart burn/acid reflux type feelings so have decided to switch to something different. I am starting SlimQuick tomorrow, I'm 5'7" and started at 175.5 and am looking to get to about 145-150, I graduate in May and have to wear a white dress (sooo slimming)!

Today is my fifth day on the Slimquick diet. My brother n law is a health freak and works at GNC. He suggested these pills and would not have unless he believed they could make a difference.

I'm following the workout schedule except that I do at least 45min. to an hour of the cardio part. I feel good and for the most part feel I've lost some water weight (tummy doesn't feel as bloated). Some side effects I've noticed is that I am having a hard time staying asleep at night. I go to bed very tired (mother of 3) and have never just woke up and couldn't go back to sleep until I started these pills. I am finding that when I wake up I'm really hungry. My appetite has been supressed on these pills, but I'm not sure why I would wake up so hungry cause I am eating and with all the right foods. Maybe I just have to get used to the new diet.

I am trying not to weigh myself until at least the 2wks. mark. I'm hoping that by posting on this board I can stay honest with myself as far as the diet (food) part goes. I'd appreciate others just starting to post their progress also. Happy Dieting everyone!

Hi Fellow Ladies,

My name is Becky. I would love to share my story to inspire others. I was 30 pounds overweight and on the track my father had set to diabetes. I have a background in science and therefore had done thorough research on how to lose weight in a healthy manner. I lost 30 pounds and reversed my track to diabetes. What I found with my research is that USANA Health Sciences are currently rated the number one supplement in all of North America based on independent research. You know how today with our environment and with our food processing we dont' get enough nutrition from our foods to prevent disease? We tend to lack good energy and feel like our body isn't winning with metabolism? Well, The products are based on a fully balanced nutritional support to the body - i.e. what we are not getting in our foods. There are also the most delicious low GI and very nutritious convenient bars and shakes. I lost the weight very steadily and in a healthy way - 1 pound a week. As a result of my research into the products, I have chosen to align myself with USANA by having a business with them so that I can share health (and permanant weight loss) with others as well. So, up for grabs here - if you are open to gathering information about USANA and how they lead the world in nutritional research and as a result help people with weight loss, let me know and I can send you further info. Always love to share. Cheers! Becky.

2" off thighs
1 1/2" off waist

All in all I've lost 6 pounds. Not bad, but it has come with excercising and eating decently. Very happy with the inches lost. We'll see if I purchase bottle number two. I think I might wait 2 weeks in-between to shock the metabolism a little bit. Nobody's posting anymore. I need encouragement!!!

Speaking of chocolate - you have to check out www.bodybyxocolate.com

It's a great company and people are having HUGE success losing weight and eating chocolate ... (that's part of the diet, really) smile

I'm also trying the slim quick as well - I'm trying to balance out my hormones after being on a nasty drug called celexa - blah. I don't have THAT much to lose, but I think that synthetic drugs wipe out your metabolism too.

check out my web page if you want to - www.healthyxocolate.com

good luck!!

Can anyone post some updates? I started Slimquick today and have seen good and bad reviews. I have been working out for about 3 weeks now and watching what I eat. Unfortunatly I have only lost 3 lbs but luckily everything is tightening up. Starting at 5'5 & 199.5 lbs and graduating college on 4/28 & getting married 5/5! I am creeping up on the big 40 and think my metabolisem has just slowed down. I will keep you updated on any progress.

Help! I started this about 8 days ago. Don't notice much, except for the appetite loss. As I was reading through the forum, I noticed that everyone is saying that there is a diet and exercise program that comes with the bottle. I did not get that with my bottle.

Can anyone help?!?
Thankss

I have been on Slim Quick for a week and I have put on 4 lbs. I lost 35 lbs 2 years ago on Atkins. But this last winter has been depressing, hardly any hiking and there is no mt biking in the rain. Does Slim Quick really work? I work out at home 3 days a week and hike for 2-4 hours on Saturdays... I do not want to do Atkins again....I also dont want to take a pill that will make me heavier! HELP!

Hello everyone,

I am new on this forum, and I just started today with slim quick. What are your advices? I do work out at least four times a week. I take body pum classes, twice a week, spinning, and I try the treadmill at least twice a week. I run at least two miles. So i decided, I am going to stick with my exercise program instead of the one on the book. Plus I will try to do the best on my diet. I am 5'2" and weight 187. My goal is to loose at least pounds. I will be very happy on my 140's. So, any suggestions? Do the pills really work? I feel a little hyper today with the first one.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you are off to a good start.

My suggestions:

Do 30 mins of cardio 3x per week, in the morning on an empty stomach. Jog at whatever speed keeps you at 70% of your max heart rate. Your maximum rate is approximately: 208 - (0.7 x age in years)). If you are 30, then you want to run to maintain 130.9 ----> .7*(208-(.7*30)) = 130.9

Try an appetite suppressant like hoodia (see sig for more info). Eat 6 small meals per day with plenty protein. Total daily protein should be 1gram for each pound that you weigh. Drink tons of water. The more you drink the less your body will store as water weight.

You only want to lose 2lbs for weight if you want to do it right.

Honestly I have done all or most 'diets', herbs, bootcamps, and unless you get to the reason you gained the weight to begin with, nothing will work permanently. It is a quick fix for the problem. To rid yourself of the weightloss emotional rollercoaster of trying the next best thing out there - which by the way is a billion dollar market (money machine), why not look inside to find the true source of the problem? If you do, you might find the weight literally fading away, and you discovering the YOU in your heart and spirit. You need you mind, body and spirit on the 'same focus' to find true peace and great health. After 30 years of doing all the 'diets' loosing some weight, gaining more back after the diet, I finally found the truth and a permanent solution to true happiness, weightloss, good health and total peace. I have now lost over 80 pounds virtually stress free and not working out at the gym.

Good luck and if you would like to see what I have done you can see my website www.weightlossgodsway-faith.com.

Hey all, Yes, I have been on slimquick, Last year of march I weighed 230 pds, I had seen the tv ad for slimquick and thought "ya ok " ill give it a shot.. Well im glad i did!!! I started by using it in march of last year, Now dont get me wrong, But you DO Need to inforce some kind of excercise plan ,I hate to excercise, So all i did was 10 min of pilates(the best!!) Which gave me my flat tummy and nice butt, And right after that i would do 10 min cardio and 10 min yoga. Thats it!! 30 min a day and i did it when i got home from work, In 4 months I was down to 160, I also should say i went by the rule no white at night(no carbs) I cut out white bread, potatoes(big one)and pasta`s.I am now a year later and still weigh 163, I am wanting to lose another 15 or 20 pds so i have started another bottle again, So yes it does work I love it, Oh and by the way yes i did cheat alot and one thing that i never gave up was my pepsi!! I continued to have that through my whole weight loss and still drink it now. Just watch your sweets intake but yes you can indulge yourself i did once a week. I had to i wasnt going to deny myself totally!!! So yes to you all slimquick does work!! And just in case you were wondering.. NO i havent been on slimquick ALL this time after i lost my 70 pds i stopped taking it just to see if i could do it on my own, I still eat healthy it has just become a habit. If i can do it anyone can!!! I am my own worst enemy and losing all that weight made me feel sexy and healthy!! Now im ready to try to lose a few more pds lolol But yes try it you wont be sorry!!!

I just started taking these on Sun. I know it's too early to see any difference in weight but, I have noticed I'm not always hungry. I don't have any of the side effects as of yet. I do feel better, maybe it's because I "know" that I'm doing the right thing for myself. You're not here alone.

Hello everyone! I'm new to the site but not to Slimquick. I'm on my third week. The first week was great! I lost five pounds. However, I recently had toe surgery so I can't excersice so the weight loss has slowed down. I've lost a total of 9.5 lbs and since I haven't been able to excersice I think it's great. I'm still very happy with the product. I am dieting and although I don't follow their excersice program I do follow my own.

Congratulations to those on the program and good luck to those who have recently started it. It has worked great for me.

The hunger will gradually reduce. You will notice that towards the end of the week you wont have as many cravings. Keep me posted. I would love to hear about your progress.

I started at 181 lbs. and 5'6". I'm now at 171.5 lbs. My final goal is 130 and by the looks and feel of things so far I think I can stick to it.

Just started the diet on monday and I've apparently already lost 6 lbs - though most of it is water weight, which is okay because usually this time of the month I'd be retaining water and I'm not. Still, very encouraging.

I was wondering though if anybody else was having issues with side effects? A lot of you who have posted already mentioned no side effects so I'm wondering if this is just my body reacting weird to it...? I've got a lot of energy but I also get the jitters for a few hours after taking the pills and find I'm a little more scatterbrained than usual. I found that instead of my usual nine hours of sleep, I'm barely getting seven, if that, with frequent wakings in the night. I'm never sleepy when I should be going to bed even though I am tired. (It also takes about two hours to fall asleep.) The energy that I get from the pills means that I'm not actually exhausted in the mornings from the diminished sleep, but I'm kind of expecting to crash any day now when it finally catches up with me.

I don't want to stop taking them now because the energy is great but I also don't want to do anything to jeopardize my health. If anybody can tell me if this is normal, I'd appreciate it. I've never taken diet pills before so I don't know myself.

Thanks!

I did the SQ program this summer, and felt really good about myself, but I'm in college and with my schedule it's hard to be really dedicated to a weightloss program. Here lately I've been really down and out about my appearance I need to do something about it. I've been thinking about starting the SQ diet again and I'm really happy I found this online community for support. I would love to slim down before Christmas...how successful do you think I will be with using this program?

I have been on the SQ program for 3 weeks now and have lost 16 lbs. I am only eating about 1200 calories a day, making dinner the smallest meal. I only have time to exercise three times a week. I am drinking tons of water and have cut out all sodas but one a day with lunch ( I was addicted to them before, so this is a huge step for me). I love SQ!! I have tons of energy and have no problem getting to sleep at night as long as I take my second dose no later than 2PM. I am snacking several times a day on peanuts and beef jerky and not letting myself get hungry. I love the results so far and am getting ready to buy my second bottle of it. This time, I am also going to purchase SQ for night time and see how the combination of both work for me. Hang in there, y'all....we can do this!!!

Diet, exercise, healthy food, lots of water and patience are my goals to lose weight now. Thanks for the tips here.

Hello ladies,
I am new to the group and need some advice. After reading all the wonderful things about Slimquick i decided to give it a try. Today is my official first day. I started with SQ Extreme but I do not feel different and I thought I would. I decided to look up the ingredients of the regular SQ and SQE. They seem extremely different. Should I have used the regular SQ? Has anyone used the SQE and had great results? Thanks for hearing me out!

Hello everyone, I'm new to all of this. However I've been on slim quick for 2wks now and I've lost a total of 13lbs. I admit it was hard getting started, but after the third day it was a breeze. My first week went great. But in the second week you're suppose to increase from 1 pill to 2. Well after taking 2 pills twice a day I started feeling sick. I don't know if it's the low calorie diet along with the pill are just the pills itself. I decided to just go back to taking one pill twice a day just to see would I have anymore side effects. I'll let you know soon.

I am eating smaller meals a day. Not eating at night or snacking after 5pm and working out my arms, butt, stomach, and legs and walking 30 minutes a day and drinking tuns of water.

hi,
I'm a newbie. I have just started my slimquick yesterday (the new and improved one - with hoodia. I have question - the direction on the bottle says take one tablet twice a day on an empty stomach. I can understand in the morning its easy, but how about the one that we take in the afternoon (after 6 hours). Right now, I do not eat anything for 2 hours before my afternoon one. Is this fine? Also, anyhting I should do alongwith execise and low fat diet to lose weight quickly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hello everyone..
I started the SQ new & improved diet pill yesterday.. and i started experiencing headaches.. I was never a big coffee drinker or soda drinker.. and i think the headaches are cause by the increase of caffine.. every tablet equals 2 cups of coffee.. im a little hesitant to move from 1 tablet to 2 tablets.. i think ill try the 1 tablet for the week.. if the headaches persist than ill switch back to dieting and exercising.. im on a 1200 cal diet... eating small frequent meals.. breakfast is a fruit smoothee ( 1 banana, 1 cup strawberries, 1cup of 1%milk), snack (2 slices of weight watchers bread with 1 tbsp of peanut butter) lunch ( 2 slices of low-fat ham, 1 slice of cheese low fat, WW bread, 4 oz yogurt) snack (1 orange, 1 cup of carrots), supper (2-egg omlette with 1 slice of cheese) 1 cup of carrots for an evening snack if needed.. i work out in the mornings for 30 mins on the elliptical.. at noon i walk for 30 mins on the treadmill, do 4 reps of 10 sit-ups and 1 rep of 10 push-ups... i work out in the evenings occassionally.. i try to work out in the evenings at least 3 times a week... my weight is 191 lbs.. waist is 42", hip 44", bust 44", i started the SQ diet cause i felt my weight loss was plateauing after losing 15 lb from diet and exercising.. ill keep you posted on the progress.. i just thought i would share my experience..

Hi

I just started the slim quick diet yesterday. So far so good-appetite under control. I'm 160lbs and am hoping to get to down to at least 145 for my wedding at the end of August. Sounds like it has been working, hope it does for me too.I'm getting a bikini to hang up for motivation for the honeymoon!

Well i tried slim quick for awhile, i haven't been as lucky as some of yous, i found i was just wasting my money. For me there was nothing slim or quick about it. im putting the money i spent on slim quick to healthier foods, and losing weight..
Good luck to all of you who are having good results, with slim quick.

So I've been taking SlimQuick for about a week now and I've already lost about 2 inches on my waist and an inch off my chest =(. I am starting to get worried though, my obgyn is out of town so I can't call her and ask if it's ok for me to take SlimQuick while taking birth control pills. Has anyone had any experience of taking slimquick and birth control pills? Thanks so much
