My hair is naturally curly, well wavy really. When I go on holiday and get out of the pool and let my hair dry naturally, it looks lovely, but unless I was my hair with chlorine every day, it just dries fluffy and frizzy. I would desperately love to have my hair like Maria's in Coronation Street. Does anyone know how she gets it like that? Do you think she uses curling tongs?

I was just wondering. When you get into the pool do you have product on your hair? Has it been a day or two since you shampoo'd? I'm sure it isn't the chlorine that makes your hair behave. - Maybe it is just the right amount of product and not doing anything to it until it is dry. ?

No, I don't have any product on my hair and it still has the same effect on my hair whether I wash it the day before or longer. I've heard that the sea can have this effect on your hair as well.

Very interesting.
Yes the ocean can do this because the salt coats your hair. Even the air on the beach will do that.

I've never heard of chlorine having that effect.
