Just wanted to say hello. I've just taken over the Wireless and Cellular site. I thought I'd start off by asking if anyone out there has had luck finding a good work-at-home job. Since there are so many scams, MLMs, etc. out there it would be nice to hear of those who have had success.

Hey Kathy:

Welcome. I would be interested in the answer to your question. We are moving to New Mexico (from the DC area) next month and I will be looking for a good work from home gig (hopefully one that uses my computer, web, graphics and marketing skills).

We'll see...

Meredith

Meredith - I'm originally from D.C. I have since escaped to Florida <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Thanks to you and Jan for your welcomes!

I'm trying to transition to full time work at home myself. I've done it before briefly as a transcriptionist, but it didn't pay enough. I'm taking a course in mortgage loan processing now, which many people have told me is the way to go, both as a good job and a WAH opportunity as long as you have a good computer set-up. I'll let you know how it goes. But that's something you might look into once you move. It's not creative, I know, which it sounds like you are (as am I), but if you're good at it you can do it part time, work from home and maybe have time to pursue your creative interests elsewhere.
