I think it would be cool to have a Flemish Giant. We've had a few come through our group and they've all been very special buns. The last was a 17lb female who hopped in two separate movements for front and back. It was more like a "gallump!"
Oh, she sounds like she was adorable! LOL...love your description of her movements!
I love New Zealands too...they have such wonderful personalities. When I was a teen I had a white NZ named Sam, and he was lord of the manor (in his mind, anyway). Much like yours, I think! I recall one day he was out in the yard running loose, and my dog Charlie (a small beagle mix) decided to give chase - playfully, mind you, but it still startled both myself and the rabbit. Sam started to run, then suddenly stopped in his tracks, turned around and began chasing Charlie. It was as though something clicked in his brain and he realized, 'hey, I'M the one in charge here, not you!' Poor Charlie was so startled he turned tail and ran into the house, and wouldn't ever come out in the yard after that if Sam was loose.
I also love that you foster rabbits. There are so many rabbits who are given away by owners for various reasons; those bunnies are blessed to have people such as yourself in their lives. The world needs more people like you, I think. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
