I like that a lot. If we could all do that what a great place this earth would be to live on. Actually it is pretty marvelous now, but some people have lost respect for the earth and all of the people God has place here. I still believe there is great power in one person to the right thing. Thank you for sharing your thought. Gin

That's a really great thought and one that has basis in the golden rule,

Treat others as you would want to be treated.

I have an interesting challenge....

I challenge everyone to do something thoughtful for someone and see if we can't start something, a chain reaction of sorts.

I'm with ya. Tomorrow I will pick someone and then report back how it made me feel. I have always felt better about myself after helping someone else. Let the fun begin.

I heard this saying on TV...

We're not human beings having spiritual experiences, we're spiritual beings having human experiences.

Thinking of ourselves as memebers of God's spiritual family has helped me feel more compassionate towards others... and I can relate better to Jesus thinking this way...

Anyone else have an uplifting motto?

JESUS DOESN'T HOLD UP A STANDARD, HE HOLDS UP A MIRROR AND SAYS REFLECT ME!

I don't know if this is an uplifting motto, but it is one I try my best to live by.

Promise the moon, deliver the stars in everything you do.

It means a lot of things in different situations.

As a mother it means that I model for my children always going above and beyond for them and for others. Not just caring and loving them but also diciplining them.

As a sales rep in my work it means that I do not promise my clients more then I can deliver and I always do my best to deliver more than expected. It is integrity and honesty that results in trust.

As a wife if means doing the little things that show my husband I love him, understanding his needs and then going above and beyond to fullfilling them.

I don't always live up to these and as you can see my priorities are not always what they should be.

"Don't say 'I love you', tomorrow, those two little words are best said today". RJG

I tell my husband and children I love them very frequently. I never want to regret that I hadn't said those words!
