I dreamed I opened a big white plastic egg, and milk spilled out. There were several small bird eggs inside, unfertilized. A miniature, one inch size chick had hatched out of one egg. My husband wanted to care for it, so we put it in a shoe box. Later, my husband told me he went to the grocery store, and groceries had been put on top of the shoebox, and the chick was dead.
I woke up and went to uncover my bird cages. Under the diamond doves (tiny doves) cage was wing feathers. One of my doves had a bloody wing and very few feathers left. I put the other bird in another cage, and put them in a safe quiet place. She was fine Monday and yesterday. Eating, just sitting around. This morning she was dead.

Oh what a shame Firefly. I don't think this one needs interpreting. Hope the other dove survives.

Hugs to you, Firefly. How sad.
Here's what struck me about your dream:
the plastic egg with milk inside sounded to me like a plastic milk jug. Milk, eggs, groceries, all things that otherwise would be nutritious end up mixed up with loss.
Does that make any sense?

Thank you Ladies. My other doves are fine. Trish, you jogged my memory; The plastic egg really resembled milk jug plastic! I am thinking about the connection; groceries, eggs, milk. The chick was in a shoebox (cage). My husband was taking care of the bird when it died (in real life my sister and I spent the night at the beach and were not home when the bird died. My husband was home alone with the pets, therefore he was in charge of them) Yes, it was some fourth of July. Our aunt died about 3 p.m., then the bird died that night. Last week I dreamed of two tornadoes. I am wondering if they represent the two deaths.
