Is the world's morality really getting worse or is it that we are more aware of it then ever before because of the communication age.

Immorality has always been a large part of society, it was hidden and not talked about. Pregnant unwed mothers were locked up and sent away. Homosexuals were too scared to say anything and lived that part of their lives in dark places. Murders and state sanctioned mass murders have gone on since the beginning of time. Drugs and other addictions have always been around, opium was used in the medical industry all the time.

When we think of the past we only see what was left for us to see, but history has proven over and over that the human race continues to follow its own desires and ignore those of God. How many American Capitalists today would use cruel child labour just to make more money? A practice that was the norm during the Industrial Age in Britain.

The world we live in today is wonderful compared to history in so many ways. The censors have been very loose with their liberal views when deciding on a rating which does lead to parents having to be more vigalent in what they will allow. But teens will continue to watch what they want regardless of the rating, a PG rating does little when they want to rent a DVD at the local video store. When I was a teenager a large number of the boys watched TNA movies like Revenge of the Nerds regardless of the R rating. It should always be the responsibility of the parent, not society, to raise their children and teach them how to make moral decisions.
