Best and warmest of wishes to our little Sophie Delezio who's on her way home from hospital today after 5 weeks in recovery following being hit by a car when crossing at a pedestrian crossing.

When this happened last month, all of Australia said, "Not again!"

This is the same little girl who was badly burnt and lost both feet 3 years ago when a car crashed into her day care centre.

But she's got the most beautiful spirit and sweet nature and all of Australia loves her and wishes her well. She's just five years old.

Good luck darling. I hope you only ever make the news again for good reasons!

She is an amazing little girl that is for sure.

If she manages to keep her lovely positive attitude and steely determination, imagine what little Sophie will be able to accomplish as she grows up... She reminds me a bit of Helen Keller.

She is an amazing little girl thats for sure...It is great to see her finally leaving hospital.

You know there are so many people out there who can learn so much just from watching this little one and the way she is dealing with what life has thrown her way.It sure has humbled me.
