I go for the baggy look - it hides the weird stuff.

Good for you, curvy figures should be shown off!

I'm a fan of in between. Well, no - I'm a fan of correctly fitting clothing, no matter what size you are.

I love wearing clothing that flatters my curves - but will never go for wearing something that is a little small to try for "form fitting" because then it just looks bad.

My biggest peeve is women who wear clothes that are too big to "hide" flaws, or too small.

A well-fitting outfit will always make you look good - and hide the flaws as well!

Check out today's CATHY comic strip (it's available from Yahoo news if its not in your local paper). All of the strips this week have been commentaries on the loose/baggy issue--well, as it relates to swim wear.

My two piece (which was a gift from my beloved but fashion delusional husband) resides quite happily in the closet. Where it hasn't seen the light of day since we came back from our cruise three years ago. The size 22 still fits, but there's no way I'm voluntarily putting it back on this body. I'm more the "something one piece, with shorts or a skirt, and a long t-shirt" type.

You're right freespirit;

But as a general rule for bigger women- wearing baggy clothes makes you llok bigger, and wearing too-tight clothes shows off all the imperfections as opposed to all the curves.

I think there's a difference between form fitting and too-tight, and a lot of women these days seem to miss that. There are just some fabrics that are too thin to do form fitting in - they hug to every tiny piece of cellulite you've got and that's not flattering to anyone! And the poor women that are wearing the tight hip hugger jeans with cropped shirts tend to have what the fashion experts have termed a "donut" - the flesh that rolls out over the top of the jeans. Once again not attractive.

We have to accept and work with our body types to find the clothes tha work best on us. We can't just wish that what looks good on a Victoria's Secret model is going to be our look, and have it come true!
