With Neo-Pagan holidays tied to a cycle of seasons, those in the Southern Hemisphere follow the same rites and rituals. They just happen on dates opposite their counterparts in the Northern Hemisphere. Southern Hemisphere Neo-Pagans

This is great Rae. I have a Wiccan friend here in the southern hemisphere, and although we rarely see each other, I like to at least know what she means when she mentions she's celebrating Ostara or Samhein.
Is it acceptable for me as a non-believer to send her an email to wish her happy Ostara, for example?

BTW, Elle, after a few years of communicating that I'm Pagan, I enjoy when my non-Pagans friends take note of a day that is significant to me that's not to anyone else. It's such a lovely surprise.
