As part of a gift it is ok. Think about this --- what if someone handed you a can of deodorant or a bottle of mouthwash? Now THAT would be offensive to me.

Sheryl T,

It would offend me only if this was given to be mean (you can also give a movie to someone you know hates it or a cd of an artist you know that person hates etc....). It all depends what the person wants, needs and likes. A gift like that can be given to someone you know needs it but does not have the money for it right now or it can be the brands you know that person like. My antiperspirant costs 20$ plus I have to pay the shipping since it can only be found online so it would be awesome to get one bottle as a gift.

Sheryl,

As long as the gift is given with love it is a nice gift smile.

I am always happy when I receive something that come from the heart. In the opposite there's my dad who to thank me for his father's day gift pushed my buttons two times, went to a dubbed movie when I was about to eat my breakfast (something he knows is torture for me), he ignored me and acted like I had given him something awful. Thankfully I put it on his chair before going to bed last night and I was not up when he saw it, maybe he would of screamed at me or something otherwise.

Sheryl,

Not my dad. He do not care about anyone except himself. He enjoys hurting other people and he enjoys it when he sees people in misery when he watches television.

My mom does show remorse sometimes but the last time she did that was years ago and it did not happened a lot plus it did not matter since she just started again or did something worst after.

On the subject of the gosmile gift -- today at the senior center one woman walked up to another with really bad teeth and actually said: "I've got some stuff I'll bring you to whiten some of those really bad teeth." She had no finesse about saying this and the woman she said it to became very hurt by this which bloomed into severe depression overnight.

Sheryl,

Wow that was cruel. Was there other people around when that happened? If so it's a shame that nobody came to her defense when that witch said that!

Yes several of us blasted her for it. She said she might not come in tomorrow.
